This is the diary of Maja Tom, a young woman who came to Berlin in 2011, shortly before the world was supposed to end.
Maja started to sketch these comic stories then, to find out and to document what life was like in cosmopolitan, liberal, party-throwing Berlin for a pennyless artist and all the people she would meet.
Some of these episodes were retold from an unreliable memory, some were maybe just imagined.
But Majas feelings are reported truly:
What will the world be like, when humans have finally become islands, floating around in a neon-colored cosmos, searching for some gravity?

Worum geht's?
Das hier ist das Comic-Tagebuch von Maja Tom. Sie kam nach Berlin im Jahr 2011, um sich als Künstlerin und Zeichnerin durchzuschlagen und um dort viele nette, sowie merkwürdige Leute zu treffen.
Sie hat damals angefangen, diese Episoden zu skizzieren um besser herauszufinden und festzuhalten, wie das Lebensgefühl in einer Party-Großstadt ist, wenn bald die Welt untergehen soll.
Manche Geschichten sind aus der Erinnerung gezeichnet. Manche mögen bloß erfunden sein.
Doch das Gefühl stimmt.
Wie fühlt sich das an, wenn die Menschen doch noch zu Inseln geworden sind?
Der Mensch, als vereinzelte Insel, schwimmt hoffnungsvoll durch einen neon-farbenen Kosmos auf der Suche nach einem bisschen Gravitation.
Und wie mag wohl das Ende der Welt aussehen?
